A Family Legacy in Glass: Our Story
Esk Glazing began in 1974 when Eric Irons idea to bring quality glazing and design to homes in Northeast Scotland became reality.
Back then, it was just Eric, a workshop attendant, and one administrative staff member. But word of Eric’s dedication to exceptional craftsmanship spread quickly. Soon, he needed a team to keep up with demand!
Esk Glazing was born and it wasn’t just a business; it became a family. Eric’s son, Craig, joined the company as an apprentice, carrying on the family tradition. Today, Craig is the Managing Director, working alongside his father, Eric. Together, they lead a team of over 35 skilled staff members, all dedicated to upholding the Esk Glazing values.
In 2017, Esk Glazing took a big step forward, creating Margaret House – our Arbroath headquarters. This move allowed us to unify our Glazing and Pvcu divisions under one roof, streamlining our operations and better serving our customers.
Fast forward to 2023, and Margaret House has undergone a transformation! We’ve modernized our window and door showroom, introduced the Esk Interiors showroom, and upgraded the Arbroath Trade Centre. It’s all about creating a welcoming environment and enhancing your experience.
Through the years, Esk Glazing has grown, but our core values remain the same: quality, family, and exceeding your expectations. As we celebrate 50 years in business in 2024, we’re proud to offer a comprehensive range of services under one roof, including Esk Interiors, Dundee Glass Balustrading, and the Design Studio.
